As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) you will provide guidance and encouragement through direct interaction with individuals receiving services. You will advocate for the individuals in all aspects of life, including community engagement, while advocating for their personal choice. You will support individuals with everyday living skills, assuring they are living the life that matches their hopes and dreams. You may provide transportation to appointments or other events.

What qualifications do I need?
Pass a background study
Preferred: High school diploma or GED, 16 years or older, and valid driver's license
What kind of training do you offer?
Includes, but not limited to; CPR, First Aid, Positive Behavior Supports, and the Disability Act. Must be able to complete a certain amount of training hours per year depending on position. Training are held during monthly staff meetings; training materials will be available online and at job sites for those who are unable to make it to the meetings.
