About Us
Multi-Community Care & Homes, Inc. provides a battery of services for children and adults with developmental disabilities. Services in the CRS are licensed by the Department of Human Services and by Meeker County (Corporate Adult Foster Care). The MCCH facilities are staffed 24 hours a day (when individuals supported are present) and employees are trained in areas such as CPR and First Aid, Emergency Procedures, Vulnerable Adult Rules and Reporting Procedures, Medication Administration and Therapeutic Intervention. Our staff provides medication assistance/administration, health and safety issues, money management, nutrition and meal preparation, grooming and hygiene, community integration and recreation/leisure activities.
Multi-Community Care & Homes, Inc. (MCCH) serves 10 adult males and 6 adult females in 4 separate SLS settings in Litchfield. These homes were opened on July 1, 2003 after MCCH downsized from a 15 bed ICF/MR to an 8 bed ICF/MR. On January 31, 2006, MCCH closed the ICF/MR and opened 2 additional SLS sites in Litchfield; each site serves 4 adult individuals The advantage to the CRS setting is that it provides the people we support with a more home-like atmosphere; with a smaller number of housemates and a greater opportunity for more individualized attention and community experiences.
MCCH provides In-Home Support Services and Respite Services to children and/or adults in the family homes or individual apartments in Meeker County. Services are provided in Eden Valley, Litchfield, Grove City and Dassel. In-Home Support Services are licensed by the Department of Human Services. We provide staff for a contracted number of hours per week. Staff responsibilities are tailored to meeting the individual needs of the people we support. Staff may assist with personal cares (grooming and hygiene), community integration activities, academic skills, exercise, cooking, behavior modification techniques or other duties as assigned.
